Today in the Nelson region the winter plantings of Antonella were perfoming very well under the long day conditons of the South Island. The strong plant has been producing high qaulity fruit in the 50-60mm size range, with deep red colour and very long shelf life. The fruit have been very uniform right from the first truss. Suited for loose picking or cluster harvest, Antonella is a new tomato that offers improved fruit qaulirty over current standards.

 Tomato variety URSULA in trials has perforemd well in the summer harvest, not suited for winter harvest. URSULA is a good option for short term summer and autumn crops.
